Collective philanthropy is a collaborative, strategic and democratic form of giving and has the power to elevate causes and conversations far beyond the capacity of an individual donor.

The Room connects individuals, for-profits and non profits to create a dynamic community, supporting those working to address the county’s most challenging social issues.

Members’ individual donations are pooled to create a significantly larger fund, and thus a larger impact. Donors remain a key part of the giving conversation and have the opportunity, if they wish, to donate their time, talent and connections to the causes supported, further leveraging their impact.
