Who We Are
At The Room, we place our values at the centre of everything we do, making decisions that move us closer to a more inclusive and caring society. We believe in the power of people coming together to create positive impact and better serve the needs of everyone in our community – creating a space where everyone feels welcome, connected, and part of something meaningful.
Our Members
Our members are the energy that fuels The Room and front and centre of who we are. Their generosity and commitment power our mission to support exceptional people and organisations driving positive social change across Oxfordshire.
Our Team
Behind the scenes, our volunteer committee, board, and advisory group generously give their time, energy, and professional expertise to help The Room raise vital funds, foster meaningful relationships, and support initiatives that strengthen communities across Oxfordshire.
Collectively, they bring decades of experience across the charity, legal, corporate, and finance sectors, and expertise in working with grassroots organisations that support and create greater opportunities for women and children.

Our relationship with Prism explained:
We have established and are fundraising in aid of “The Room”, a restricted fund held by and operated under the auspices of Prism The Gift Fund (charity number 1099682). Prism was established in 2005 with the mission of increasing the flow of funds into the charitable sector by creating administrative efficiencies and is expert in administering the giving of groups of donors and established foundations. Prism was awarded Philanthropy Initiative of the Year and Philanthropy Advisor of the Year in 2022, 2023 and 2024. In the unlikely event that surplus funds are raised which cannot be used for The Room’s collective fund purposes, the surplus may be used by Prism in furtherance of general charitable purposes.
