A Collective Force for Local Change
Joining The Room is a way to give locally, collectively and with greater connection to the organisations creating change across Oxfordshire. We believe some of the best solutions to Oxfordshire’s most pressing challenges come from the people and organisations closest to them. By pooling our giving, we can provide meaningful, flexible funding to exceptional small charities working with women, children and young people across the county. As a member, you’ll discover and learn about local organisations, help decide where our collective funding goes, and become part of a community committed to making a difference locally.
Membership Options
01 Core Membership
Membership for a year is a donation of £1,000, with 100% of your £1,000 going directly to our collective grants fund.
You can join as an individual or family, or come together with friends to share a membership. To become a member, simply click Join in the menu.
If you’d like to pay in instalments, please get in touch at contact@theroomoxford.org and we’ll be happy to help you set that up.
02 Extend Your Impact
If you’d like to contribute more than the £1,000 Core Membership, you can choose your own donation amount at the JustGiving checkout. Any additional contribution goes directly to our collective grants fund.
Matched Memberships
We have a limited number of £500 Matched Memberships available, supported by additional donations to the grants fund. If you’d like to join through this scheme or contribute towards a Matched Membership, please get in touch. You can find more details in our FAQs.
03 Corporate Partnerships
We work with values-aligned businesses that would like to support local charities and contribute to The Room’s work through funding, sponsorship or practical support.
